Coming Events for the Upper Skagit Area
The Concrete Chamber of Commerce and United General Hospital are pleased to sponsor the Cement City Street Fair on Saturday, July 26, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in and around Concrete. This summer celebration features arts & crafts, sidewalk sales, live music, health screenings, resource tables, poetry reading, and more. Our goal is to provide an event chock-ful with healthy family fun and showcase the artists, performers, businesses and service providers in our area. The Third Annual Concrete Ghost Walk will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings. October 10 through 25, starting after dark. Reservations and prepayment are required! Call: (360) 853-7621 Email: concreteghostwalk@mac.com $10/person; Over 18 only The Concrete Ghost Walk is a great way to learn about the history of our town and surrounding areas. You'll hear about (and maybe even meet!) some of the colorful characters from our past, visit a number of haunted buildings and talk to the locals who'll share their stories and theories. It's all in the name of good-natured fun, but the Concrete Ghost Walk may not be suitable for young children or the faint-hearted!
